The spectral theory of quasi-periodicoperators is a fascinating field which continuously attracts a lot ofattentions for its rich background in quantum physics as well as its richconnections with many mathematical theories and methods. In this lecture, Iwill briefly introduce the main problems in this field and their connectionswith dynamical systems, especially the KAM theory. As examples, I will presentrecent results by Avila-You-Zhou on the Dry Ten Martini problem and the phasetransition in Almost Mathieu Operators.
